ED HUGHEY, AIA, Realtor, GRI, ABR

Founder and Principal Architect

Ed has been a practicing architect in Austin since 2006, starting his own practice in 2010 (then Arbib Hughey Design). His founding goals were simple: good architecture should be attainable to anyone interested in good design and that the most successful projects were born out of a fun, collaborative environment between architect, client & builder.

In addition to twenty years in Architecture, Ed is an accomplished top-producing Realtor with Moreland Properties, specializing in architectural & luxury homes in and around Central Austin. With this additional professional skill, Ed is able to offer his clients full consultation from property feasibility & procurement, project feasibility & scope advice, architectural design & permitting, construction assistance, and ultimately professional representation when selling the project. Originally from the Northeast, Ed graduated from Dartmouth College in 1999 and spent years working as a buyer for Abercombie & Fitch. Ed moved to Austin in 2003 to pursue his Master of Architecture degree at the University of Texas. Post-graduation, he remained in Austin, honed his skill at small residential firms, and became a BBQ and taco aficionado. Out of the office, Ed enjoys spending time with his wife & two boys building things, playing ball, riding bikes, and watching Steelers football.

DAWSON WILLIAMS, AIA

Architect

As an Architect and educator, Dawson values clear communication that brings people together around a common vision. He enjoys improving the daily life of his clients through useful and delightful spaces.

A long-time Austin resident, Dawson received his Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Texas. He has continued to put down roots here, and over the years his home and kids have grown along with this beautiful city. Dawson also enjoys sampling tacos and BBQ, getting outdoors with his family, and, on some Sundays, the Dallas Cowboys.
